Remember to push that easy button whenever you can. Life is hard enough, make being with your horse easier with love, respect, and trust.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As an integral part of your own herd, your new responsibilities are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Protect your horse from predators.&nbsp; Keep him safe and stay calm and relaxed when possible<\/li>\n<li>Make sure he has the proper food and water he needs<\/li>\n<li>Let your horse know when it is safe to eat and not safe to eat<\/li>\n<li>Keep the peace and harmony in the herd<\/li>\n<li>Be aware of your surroundings while with your horse<\/li>\n<li>Be conscious of your horse\u2019s viewpoint<\/li>\n<li>Allow your horse to say, \u201cyes, no, or maybe\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Give your horse a voice! Keep it a two-way conversation<\/li>\n<li>Be attentive to your horse and his surroundings<\/li>\n<li>Be thoughtful and conscious of your intentions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>And most important of all \u2013 live, love, and be happy together. &nbsp;Enjoy the relationship that the two of you are building together. Give it time, patience, and practice.<\/p>\n<p>Keep you and your horse in the \u201cjudgment-free zone\u201d. Neither you nor your horse is at fault for any little mistakes during the learning process.
