Yes, as I've caught my horses at times straining the fence to get the taller oat grass always on the other side. They are comical at times. I can also remember when giving them grass hay they seemed to look disappointed in not having alfalfa. Thank you for another treat in your horses' lessons.

I think horses get a kick out of watching us sometimes too. :)

Hi teddy
I’m a great believer that like children, our horses love to play not only with other horses but us ! Every single day my girl waits for me at 4 pm at the fence ready for our play time ! I enter the paddock for her to receive her scratch and fuss ! This then progresses to our little game of chase ! She seems to squeal with delight, pawing with her front leg, bucking and happily trotting and cantering around in circles before I head to the stables to start my chores ! She then takes off ahead Like a gazelle happily, bucking, squealing with tail in the air, where she then stands patiently for our quiet time ! She does the same thing each day ! I do not feed her at this time so surely this behaviour isn’t in anticipation of dinner ?
We then have a quiet moment where I crouch down and she softly inhales the top of my head like she has done so since she was 20 months old ! (She is 7 now ) it’s such an intimate moment and my favourite part of the day ! Skye is a brutish registered Percheron !
Thankyou for your posts, I look forward to them each week

Yes as it is the one knew when the electric fence was off over the fence she would go to browsing around on seemed greener grass. Maybe because it was not grazed on yet and she gave me that huh look. I swear they both laughed at me when in a hurry I'd duck under the electric fence instead of disconnecting it at the gate and running and literally getting the shock of my life. I knew they were laughing bobbing their heads up and down and shaking their heads. But as it is yes as it was limbs of trees or deer jumping the fence always would cause some fences to be down and time to do repairs.
