I know how heartbreaking it is as I lost 2 loves this spring within less than month of each other. My husband died in April and my heart horse in May. I do have 3 other horses and am looking to find a companion horse for my 30+ yo who lost his best bud.. He was inconsolable for quite a while. We are doing better now but will always miss them. Yes it has been very hard. I’ve been with Jazz and Apollo longer than I’ve been with most of my family.

Wow, to think that you have two horses for over 30 years. Not many people could say that. How special that they were in your care. I had a giggle at your student's response, “and after wondering whether to get another horse, I realized how dumb it was to think I could live without one.” How wonderful that you can buy Kit.
