Hi Teddie I certainly agree 100% that horses have emotions. I have had my quarter horse 27 years and we know each other very well. One time my horse Yankee was in pasture and had obtained a stone in his Hoof causing pain. He came trotting up limping a little distance away whinnying several times to let me know something was wrong. Then there was the time I had to move him to my dad's other farm. The next day when I went over to check on him he was gone. He had jumped the fence cleared it by the way and we found him at the neighbors who kindly pinned him up. When he saw me he gave out the biggest whinny anyone had ever heard because he was so happy to see me. I think he thought I abandoned him. Jealousy I think when I get my mare out he will bang on the stall door for attention. And love certainly he will sometimes cuddle his head in my chest. We have a incredible bond. I don't know how long we still have together it will be so hard to lose my best friend. I've only owned my mare a short time so hoping it works out. I struggle with confidence from a accident years ago but getting better. Been around horses since I was five they are God's wonderful creatures couldn't imagine not being around them. Enjoyed your story your weather looks alot better than ours cold and snowing here. Kindest regards Lynn

I loved what you said Teddie and I think I am on the right track with my horses especially my little Quarter horse who was very anxious when I first got her. I will just keep on going and see where it takes me. Many thanks . Cheers Liz
