Aww, what an interesting reading. Sahara is currently in with big ponies (4 to 5 ponies on less grass than the main herd) as she is a very easy keeper. She is the boss in that paddock. When Weka, a little forest pony was there (he has since been sold) he was the boss.

In the main herd (around 10 horses), while she is not the highest in the hierarchy, the other horses keep away from her as she will kick. And boy, her back legs can kick very high. I very, very rarely have ripped covers as the only horse she lets near her is her boyfriend. She misses Buster when she has to go into the fatty's paddock. How I hate putting her in there but she is prone to laminitis otherwise. Once the grass browns off she can go back in with herd.
